No need to remove the square chip from the module, this lets you read it through the edgecard connector. See the 'FE' for more functionality. This device REQUIRES a BURN2 programmer - if you're looking for a simple way to program chips for your Ford, look at our Jaybird programmer instead.

    Very nice piece! Thanks for the super fast shipping!! I was able to read my factory ECM, burn a chip from a BIN file, and test the car in just a few minutes!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PIECE!! Buying this allows you to read factory Ford ECM. It's a great way to see what you have before tuning! My factory computer did NOT have the program in it that was marked on it! I could have wasted hours. AVOID confusion. buy this piece! Awesome products and support!! Ben 95 Mark VIII
