    Requires Burn2 and FA.  The FE allows you to read any pre-2005 EEC4/5 (1,2,4-bank) in less than 10 seconds.  The EEC does not need to be powered so it is possible to read computers on the bench - the BURN2+FA+FE provides sufficient power.  This unit will also work with the EEC installed in-vehicle.  This unit will read the current tune from EECV computers that have been flash tuned with other devices.

    Very nice piece! Thanks for the super fast shipping!! I was able to read my factory ECM, burn a chip from a BIN file, and test the car in just a few minutes!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PIECE!! Buying this allows you to read factory Ford ECM. It's a great way to see what you have before tuning! My factory computer did NOT have the program in it that was marked on it! I could have wasted hours. AVOID confusion. buy this piece!

    With this, the black plastic J3 port cover and 5 mins you'll have a complete dump. I found the black plastic cover works wonders removing the 'goo' off the J3 connector.
