The newest breed of emulator has evolved!

Note: When using with 24-pin GM applications, you MUST use a Socket Booster!
    (available separately).

Note2: If you'd like to have a custom length cable instead of the standard 18" (for example, 2" or 6" for noise or latency-sensitive applications such as VW or Nissan), please include a note in the comments section of your order and we'll provide that instead at no additional cost!

    Overview
This is the newest Ostrich, the 2.0 unit. It is extremely small and compact, durable, versatile, and powerful. Full 921.6k speed, from 4k (2732A) up to 512k (4mbit 29F040) and everything in between (27C128, 27C256, 27C512).

This new design distills the experience to date from the Ostrich product, adding key power features such as address tracing, totally bumpless uploads and readbacks, fully isolated and buffered inputs and outputs, easy-access pinout configuration switches, clearly marked connectors, upgraded power supply sections, long-life lithium ion coin cell battery backup, reduced chipset USB interface, and common JEDEC-compatible 24, 28, or 32-pin emulation header.

The new form factor is incredibly small and compact. With CNC-cut enclosures, as well as silkscreened lexan product description overlay, the Ostrich 2.0 sets a new standard in fitment and appearance. With state-of-the art performance, it is without rivals.

Comes with 6 foot USB cable and 18" 28-pin DIP emulation header. Also comes with 28-pin machine-tooled socket that can be snapped onto the emulation cable for protection and improved connections.

The Ostrich 2.0 now supports ROM tracing. This feature is very handy for ROM Definition developers, and can also provide pseudo-datalogging for ECUs using the hit window feature.

Great product slow ship at no fault of Moates

The ostrich is an amazing product! Definitely takes time to learn how to install it and then adjust parameters for your needs. There is definitely a learning curve. It will take me some time to figure out what the definitions mean and adjust my engine properly. Have to thank the Moates team for offering this product and giving us the availability to adjust these parameters real-time! Unfortunately I selected to pay extra for usps 2 day shipping and it got here in 6 days. I placed another order from Moates a week later, selected ups 3 day and it was here in 2. In my experience, UPS is the way to ship and 3 bucks less

This thing is an absolute jewel

The ostrich works great, as do all the products I've recieved from Moates. My favorite thing about it this little jewel is that I can program it on my lunch break at work, and plug it into the ribbon cable attached to my ecu and drive home on my updated setup. No need to pull the ecu every time and change a chip. Its as easy as updating an OBD 2 setup. The online instructions are very detailed and easy to understand, and the service and communication is top notch. Next I'm getting the chip extender so I can mount it permanantly in an easy to reach but out of sight area and never have to pull the ecu again when I upgrade my engine in the future. ☆☆☆☆☆
